Independence
Joypad Guild editorial decisions are made by its writers and editors alone. Advertisers and publishers have no say in what we cover or how we score it.
Accuracy and sourcing
We confirm facts with primary sources. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is in the public interest and an editor knows who they are.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly, and each correction is noted at the foot of the story with the date.
Review code, travel and gifts
We accept early review code and disclose it. We do not accept paid travel, and gifts worth more than a token amount are returned or donated.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some hardware recommendations contain affiliate links. Sponsored content is labelled at the top of the page.
Use of AI
Joypad Guild stories are reported and written by people. We do not publish machine-generated reviews or news.
